Dawn emits a squeak when she gets the letter, and she swiftly sits down to write a reply. She thinks a moment, and then decides this is a somewhat formal occasion (this being a Founding Father and all), and goes into what she calls "English mode":
Dear Mr. Adams,
Thank you very much for the signature. I always enjoyed Mr. Franklin's writings, but few could boast that they have his signature! It's a great honor to meet you, Mr. Adams, coming, as I do, from America. Reading about my country's history is one thing; meeting a Founding Father is another entirely. I'm glad you'll be in my House, as there are many things I'd love to discuss with you. I do hope we'll be able to speak soon.
