((Sorry about the delay but it took me a while to decide how to play this. If you think it's unrealistic for your character to have been drunk enough/influenced by Ryuuji, you don't have to play along. Otherwise, pick any song you think your char would have sung, upload it to
yousendit, then comment with a link. Easy way to share musical tastes!

Door tried to think of what would be appropriate. She dismissed a few that came to mind as being a bit too bawdy, or too hard to sing, or just not right.
She wound up singing two songs.
The Highwayman
The Rattlin' Bog

Softly, sincerely, he thanked her, "That was marvellous, Lady Door. Thank you for treating us to that rendition."

Draping an arm over Nightwing's shoulder, he held the mike between the two of them, leaning in a little so their voices would be equally strong. Lover I Don't Have To Love by Bright Eyes started up, and Ryuuji slid into the lyrics easily, smooth voice made sensual by its slowness.
"I picked you out
Of a crowd and talked to you
Said I liked your shoes"

~What's the time?
Well it's gotta be close to midnight
My body's talking to me

As his thoughts turned towards a specific someone with blonde hair and kind, uniquely blue eyes, he knew what he had to sing.
In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel
His clear baritone voice was angel pure and nearly heartbreaking, overflowing with unrequited feelings, which he was ready to deny if anyone called him on it. He always seemed to get maudlin over Pinot Noir...
