Cass gingerly accepts the small furry creature. "Thank you, Sir." she says, cradling it against her costume.

"There ya go, kid!" exclaimed the house elf as his small charge grew very much larger, sprouting arms and legs and hair and clothes. Nemo blinked and smiled, seated on the floor next to the tank, as Grant stepped toward him holding a tribble.

Nemo held out his hands to receive the creature, a soft pale grey one with reddish-brown spots.

"Ooh!" he said, cuddling the creature and holding it to his face. "She's so pretty! Can I give her a name? I wanna name her Furryfurrysoft."

((Nemo will return to his normally scheduled piscinity once he finishes adoring Furryfurrysoft and sees her safely installed in a cage on the outside of his tank, where he can still see her all the time. This will be assumed to have happened already, regardless of whether I decide to RP it out.))

Nemo wasn't listening to Dr. Grant anymore - not on purpose, but because he was utterly captivated with the creature in his arms.

Furryfurrysoft cooed and purred, and Nemo started talking to her very quietly in a singsong voice.

"You're my friend now, Furryfurrysoft, and I'm gonna be your friend too. I'm a fish mostly, but that's Domino my house-elf friend, and he'll feed you while I'm being a fish. And you'll have a cage outside my tank that we can put you in - would you like a pink blanket for your cage? - and you can see me even when I'm in my tank. And then Domino can make me be a people, and then I can hug you, like now."
