Gert had enjoyed the masquerade well enough, even if she hadn't seen where Victor had run off to. Chase in Nico's clothes was both disturbing and hilarious, and Gert was glad to have her boyfriend back. That was probably why she'd manage to sneak herself ( Read more... )

Y'know, there was really something to be said about the Goth clothing. That shirt had made his abs look fantastic. But, he definitely had to get those clothes back to Nico ASAP.

He was just pulling on a pair of real pants when his door opened.

Probably just Oz

'Hey, sugar-butt.'

Or Gert. Which is...good. Because if Oz called him Sugar-Butt, that would really put a strain on their roomately relationship.

"Evenin', doll face" he said, in his best 1920's gangster voice, which was surprisingly competent.

"Bang, bang," she laughed, and closed the door behind her. "Nico's going to kill you if you stretch out her stuff, babe." Chase might have been scrawny, but he had shoulders.

They were nice shoulders.

Sliding a little further into the room, Gert folded her arms over her chest and shifted her weight to one side, one broad hip jutting out. "Incorrigible. You disappear again and I'm leaving you for Karolina," she threatened jokingly.

Chase took a minute to let Gert's threat sink in.

And then he took another to savor the image it produced.

That stupid grin Chase always wore after that threat was half of the prize of using it. It wasn't REALLY a threat after all. She laughed, and reached out, slipping her index finger through one of his belt-loops and giving him a little tug closer. "It wasn't a bad look, really."
