Just as Chase was sneaking out of the Common room, Nico was walking into it. A brow was arched when she came face to face with Chase. Gert wasn't in this house, hrn, the last time Chase had snuck in here...
"I hate to break it to you Chase, but the Goth look just isn't your thing"
Pause.
"And if any of my clothes are stretched, you're a dead man"

Oh. Well. ...Crap.
"Really? 'Cause, I think that shirt really showed off my awesome physique." He grinned at her in a way that he hoped was innocent and playful.
"Uh...Nope. Nothing stretched. And, if you examine them, you'll even see that they've been washed. Ready to wear immediately."
A beat.
"Well, nice to see you. Gotta jet."

"Yeah, really. Actually, wait Chase. There's something I've been wanting to talk to you about"
Okay, she didn't want to talk about it but she needed to talk about it. Chase had been MIA for awhile and she was afraid that part of the reason was because of what happened in New York. That needed to be cleared up completely and then confessed. Gert was their friend and she deserved the truth...but she also had a dino with very sharp teeth that responded to her emotions.
