(( OOC: The CWB event is going so well! Everyone is being awesome and now it's time to wrap it up. We definitely have enough attackers, with enough luck, to defeat the bear. Since we have so many separate fight threads going on but there is only one Canadian Weasley Bear, we thought we should bring it all together. To avoid getting hung up on ( Read more... )

Going all out, Dialga let loose his signature attack, Roar of Time. It would leave him vulnerable for a turn, but it would do some serious damage.

The Roar of Time parted the stream of spiders cascading down the bear's belly and hit the bear hard, square in the solar plexus.

For a handful of seconds, the unearthly mudglugscreams were silenced. The bear gasped for breath.

Beowulf had never seen Dialga before. To him, Dialga's form seemed that of a dragon, fashioned all of wondrously wrought silver.

Alas, for Beowulf, a dragon symbolized the wages of milfy sin! Wildly the Geat glanced about for Angelina Jolie the mother of monsters, she who birthed the dragon. The only women in view were Glory and Maddie, both of whom he knew as his Hat Shore housemates, and neither of whom had given birth to any monsters he'd seen.

Perhaps this dragon was a monstermilf, itself?

He found this possibility nothing short of inspirational. Doubly driven - to kill your monster (the CWB) and to impress a possible milf (Dialga) - the Geat charged forward, unarmed, just as he'd fought barehanded against Grendel.

As he'd done to Grendel, he pulled at the CWB's arm, the same arm that had earlier been wounded by Dean Winchester's shotgun blast. A sickening crack could be heard.

Beowulf had torn the bear's forelimb out of its socket, and the limb swung helpless at its side. Though the CWB fared better than Grendel, it would get little use from this arm hereafter.

It coughed a great lump of spiders, perhaps dislodged by Dialga's attack.

Its roar renewed, the CWB flailed its useless arm with Beowulf still attached, knocking the Geat free and aside. It faltered for a moment, then took a ponderous step toward the attackers immediately within its view.

Sam.. had seen a lot of very weird shit over the course of his life. Suicidal teddy bears, a naked cupid don't ask, ancient gods that sounded like evil Ozzy and Harriet, even his brother's best friend being turned into an action figure.

But this? This was a new one on him.

He blinked and turned to Cas and his brothers. "Um. It's a duck."

Dean and Adam were a little late to the party, the elder Winchester stopping to help their half brother get out of a few more pickles with those tree squids and spiders.

His shot had landed and he was glad for that, considering by the time he made it out of the dome, readied his weapon to find it jammed things moved so fast he never got a chance to fire even another shot.

Adam as it was stood there, confused, scratching his head as it suddenly appeared that the bear was now a duck "Uh, guys, can I go back to my room, in Gryffindor now?" He just wanted to get out of here.

The older man, stood looking at the duck, then back at Sam "Dude, seriously? A duck? I'm supposed to shoot a duck?" His weapon was in working order now but he was finding it hard to take a shot.

[Headtilt.]

"...it doesn't look dangerous," Cas offered cautiously after a moment.
