"They dragged you into this too?" Turlough said as he picked up a pool noodle.

[elegantsamurai]

"So it would seem," Yukimura agreed easily, smiling at Turlough. "I didn't expect you to be brought in, though. Did you sign up or was it the Hat's idea?" he asked.

[vislor_turlough]

"The hat," Turlough said venomously. "You think I would consent to something this ludicrous?" He waved his noodle around. "Come on, you can barely hold this."

Yukimura smiled, bringing up the pool noodle into as much of a normal ready position as possible. "Oh?" he said, smiling. "The Hat does seem to have very strange ideas about what is entertainment, doesn't it?" And, no idea what freedom meant.

"Let's get this over with," Turlough sighed, swinging his noodle at Yukimura.

Yeah, he's totally half-assing it.

Such a wild and lazy swing was very easy to block. "Come now," Yukimura laughed. "If you want it over with that badly, why not just drop your weapon? If you mean it, try it again."

To his credit, Turlough considered it. Then he shrugged and changed how he held the noodle, putting some oomph into the next swing.

Yukimura parried the swing. "Tell me," he said, continuing to only be on the defensive for now, "it doesn't seem as though you've fought with a sword before. Is that correct?"

[vislor_turlough]

"Closest I've ever really been to wielding one was brandishing a hat rack like a gun. Long story." He swung again.

"I should like to hear it sometime," Yukimura laughed, blocking then pressing an attack under Turlough's 'weapon.' "Over coffee or sake?"

[vislor_turlough]

"If you've managed to sneak some sake in this madhouse, I'll say that."

So Hat Shore makes Turlough an alcoholic. Good to know.

Yukimura sighed. "I had not known it would be this long and was not given much time to prepare. I couldn't even bring a cute kimono," he pouted, pressing another attack, aiming at Turlough's 'sword' hand. "And, the house elves are more uncooperative than normal."

[vislor_turlough]

"Ah!" Turlough shook his hand, that had stung. "Should have guessed."

"It has to let us out at some point, doesn't it?" Yukimura asked, letting Turlough recover. "I do not want to stay very long in this place." He missed Sasuke and being able to be with Kuronue physically.

[vislor_turlough]

"If this turns out anything like that tent village I've heard rumors about, he'll get bored and disband the thing. Glad I wasn't around for that. Forced random people to marry. Not that it mattered, he just pushed it on me later."
