((This one's open to pretty much anyone, but Yukimura and Lee are particularly invited to come around before or after Bobby and the boys show up.))Castiel had finally gotten around to investigating the bar in Ravenclaw tower, and found the place to his liking. He could sit quietly and watch people come and go if he wanted to, socialize if he liked ( Read more... )

((Tag whenever--no rush!))

Lee was remarkably good at just kind of... being places. It came in handy sometimes, like when she wanted to make a big entrance. Or when she wanted to avoid them--suddenly being noticed in a corner and making three people jump a little was a lot quieter than kicking down a door, stomping across the floor (hovering across--she couldn't even stomp properly if she was in cloak mode) and facing everyone down.

And she wasn't big on big entrances when she was at the Ravenclaw bar. Stay in a dark corner and get drunk in a burgundy pile, that was more her thing. Nobody interrupted her binges asking for help here. Nobody much interrupted her at all.

It was nice, in an avoidant way. She downed some more dark beer, concentrating on the taste and not much else.

"That's nice," she said, muffled as she spoke into the table. "Nah. I get left alone here." She giggled, pulling herself upright and gulping beer. "Can't imagine why." She mimed punching twice with her free hand, making little "bam" noises, and then added a "bzzt" for good measure, wiggling her fingers, and dissolved into more giggling. And snorting. Very bad for the image.

Watching the performance with his customary puzzled head-tilt, Castiel wasn't at all sure that Lee being left alone like this was a good thing, but he'd respect her wishes. And probably pop in from time to time just to make sure she was all right.

"Is Lee your real name?" he asked suddenly out of left field.

She hesitated, shaking her head. "Liandra," she finally said. And rushing, she added, "If you ever call me that I will beat the shit out of you. I'm not kidding. Look how serious I am. Look. Fucking serious." She swayed a little, but her face was grim. "It's Lee now. Got it?"

He nodded, hesitating in turn. "My friends calls me Cas," he said, a little uncertainly. Annoyed at first, he'd grown accustomed to the diminutive, from Dean and then others, but he'd never actually invited anyone to address him that way before.

"Probably easier to spell," she said, relaxing. She drummed her fingers on the bottle. "So do I get to call you that?"

"If you like." He absolutely was not shy. Warriors of God (or whatever) didn't do that whole 'shy' thing. He was just...not drunk enough, apparently, and hastened to remedy that with the help of the Glenlivet.

She nodded. "'kay." She pointed to him. "Cas." Back to her. "Lee." To the bottle. "Booze. Now get drinking. Drinking alone is just sad."

He smiled at that statement, ever so slightly. "I agree." Rather than pester an elf, he materialized a second glass. The beer was good, but the Glen was better.
