Oh certain things never change about people, it doesn't matter how much time passes. And I have a rather good eye for detail.

Not much empire left by then, and really, all those Iberians? Even the eyeliner-wearing, black velvet-covered variety of Goths would have kicked Valens' ass.

...oddly, I was rather fond of black velvet myself at the time.
