What did not seem as familiar was the tropical grove she seemed to have wandered into. The trees ringing the outskirts reeked of spices, and the further she stumbled into the grove, the more fruits she saw, fruits so alien to her that they might be from another world.
Once again, it seemed like a fairy tale. She'd have to be on the lookout for gingerbread houses.
A nearby silhouette, on the other hand, appeared nonthreatening.
"Hello?" she called out nervously. "I haven't wandered somewhere off-limits, have I?"

Artemis wound herself around Turlough's ankles.

The creature at Turlough's feet caught her attention then. She was too jaded to be scared by a friendly-seeming animal she didn't recognize, but it was startling.
There was a limit, however, to how often she'd ask 'what?' in a certain time frame.

Turlough scratched Artemis's head as she settled in his arms. "A had asked for a mangosteen tree. Some tropical fruit. Lezard decided to transplant an entire grove, animals and all. Part of his punishment was making sure it stayed viable even in winter, hence why it's warmer here."
