Boukensha, long disgusted with his servant's lack of attention, had left long before, stalking out of the forest, presumably back to their apartment or one of his other places to hide and play.

Kurama had loads of practice hiding, but Kusuriyuri was always ever so good at finding him. Though admittedly part of that was Kurama always wanted to be found. He slunk among the middle-height branches, catching Kusuriyuri in a clearing where a heavy population of medicinal herbs grew.
He dropped to the ground silently, drawing up behind Kusuriyuri and, with the deftness of a master pickpocket, slid his arms around his lover's waist, not touching enough to notice until he could lean forward and rest his chin on Kusuriyuri's shoulder.

He swooped down, gliding until he landed behind Kurama smoothly. He jogged up to his side. "Did you like it?" he asked, referring to said dubious box he'd given him for his birthday.

Kuro wasn't likely acting guilty over the way he'd growled at and accused Kusuriyuri; he may be many things, but Kuronue didn't have that much room for guilt in his head. So, what was it? Something with Jing, maybe? Or something else?
He said nothing, waiting for Kuronue to continue.
