((No reply necessary, of course- I just felt that Vlad needed to react to Paul's note. =D))

The Baron Vladimir Harkonnen emptied his glass of heavily spiced wine and unfolded the note yet again, smoothing out the numerous perfectly regular lines which now scored its surface. He read the short message once more, as he had so many times since receiving it, before folding it once more- the message crafted by the hand of his unknown grandson had indeed had the intended effect. That it was unsigned had not mattered. The words could only have come from the one who was Paul-or-a-ghola-of-Paul, as such words would not have come from any other in the castle. He'd attempted to reply to the note, with an invitation to dinner of all things (although the presence of Paul-or-a-ghola-of-Paul had vexed the Baron since their encounter, his intrigue was somewhat more potent), but his house-elf had returned with the note in hand, nervously explaining that she couldn't deliver a note to popcorn.
