Magic made it considerably easier to shift the wooden sculpture he'd carved down to the Great Hall. He placed it just beside the door. There was a lot of traffic there, he'd noticed, student had to eat, after all, though some took their food elsewhere. It was a large statue, about the same size as Apos, which seemed short to everyone else here.

Wait just a second, this was interesting.
The doctor did a slightly wobbly 360 on one heel and went back to more closely examine the statue. Carved of wood, horrifyingly grotesque, but with no small amount of artistic skill. He crouched, hands on his knees, and stared intently at the statue. Someone had a lot of sexual issues they needed to work out.

Having run around in hot weather, they decided water was in order, and headed for the Great Hall.
Fuuka stopped short when she saw the statue though. Koromaru looked up at her with a questioning look on his face.
"Let's go to our room instead. Quickly."
Pulling out her Evoker, she began to run.

He pulled his sword from his hip and held it out across the hall, more or less blocking her way. He wanted to see how she was. Smiling, he said, "Ah, Fuuka. How are you, darling? Healing well?"

Screaming, she backed up, summoning her Persona.
Because Koromaru was at her feet, he ended up trapped in the Persona with her. He was whimpering as he saw her panic, then began to growl at the stranger.

"Are you hungry, love?" he asked, leaving her for a moment to retrieve the fruit from the sculptures hands, then returning to her.

Was he paranoid for feeling it wasn't only a statue? Perhaps. His mind was on edge, and maybe it always would be until his scheduled death, and it was quite possible this had no more sinister purpose than to disturb passers-by, but he was suddenly very glad that Masuyo wasn't with him. She liked to climb.
One hand went to his pocket, gripping his wand, ready to draw it as he took a step closer.

But. That would leave someone else to be preyed upon, wouldn't it? He should find out what the trap was here, then he could do something about it. Not just flee at the first sign of danger like a - a mouse.
"I can see that." He made his voice cold, scathing, the tone he'd used in courtrooms far too long ago, tearing down a weak defense case. "What do you want?" It almost didn't shake at all. Even though somewhere deep inside he knew how stupid this was, and that responsibility had nothing to do with it. He was simply too proud to run.
