George had said that Holy Roman Empire belonged with the brave people of the house of Gryffindor. You saw all sorts of strange people in Hogwarts, but Demyx certainly hadn't been expecting a small boy in a three-cornered hat striding purposefully down the hall. He leaned down to address the newcomer. "Hey. Haven't seen you around before."

Holy Roman Empire stopped to acknowledge Demyx, not at all displeased at the interruption. "I've only just arrived," he explained. And continuing briskly onto business, "I'm looking for Hufflepuff."

Demyx grinned at that. "Always nice to meet someone else in the House. I'm in Hufflepuff as well. Want me to show you the way?"

"You belong to my house?" he repeated. As for the phrasing, well, imperialistic tendencies were hard to break. His eyes narrowed a bit as he scrutinized Demyx, trying to assess his potential to fit well in Holy Roman Empire's household.

But Demyx did appear to have a good attitude, and he seemed readily helpful. It was a good first impression.

Holy Roman Empire nodded. "Yes, thank you." And since they were to share a house, he added, "I'm Holy Roman Empire."

Sweden was probably the last person HRE wanted to see right now, but as they are of the same house, and Sweden's still on a bit on an adrenaline high after the Olympics, he's wandering the halls with his straw goats in tow, running into the little empire.

Sweden was everywhere! How was Holy Roman Empire supposed to enjoy himself when Sweden was everywhere?

“I’m not talking to you,” he declared. “I’m too busy going to Hufflepuff.” His tone added: so stay out of my way.

"S'my house." Sweden merely said. "S'nice there."

At that he stopped, and Holy Roman Empire threw his hands up. “You’ve taken Hufflepuff too? Do you have no restraint? Are you going to leave me anything?”

So perhaps he was taking this a bit too personally, as well as ignoring the fact that Sweden had been here first.
