I wanted something from you, with you-not to own you, but to feel like some part of you was just for me, and no one else. But I am not sure it's possible now... is it? Perhaps it was too selfish to want that.

I'm not intending to leave you. But I will keep a separate room now if it's preferred. I do not wish to risk interrupting you when you have guests staying over.

Thank you for the gift.

Sasuke

(The letter is enclosed in a small wrapped package, which also contains a miniature, delicately hand-carved and painted snowy village, complete with two tiny figures walking together that are obviously meant to represent Yukimura and Sasuke, mostly hidden within the crowd of likewise tiny villagers.)

It is good to hear your true feelings at last. I have been wanting to know.

I have offered, and will continue to do so, part of myself to you. You are never far from my thoughts, my shadow, even when I am with the other.

At home, it was far easier to know your heart. But, then, perhaps things were simpler there. How is it that you wish to have that part of me, Sasuke? Please, speak clearly that we may again be at ease with each other. Perhaps it is selfish, but I do miss that.

I should not wish to make you feel uncomfortable, but if sharing a room is doing so, please stay near.

Your gift is charming. Shall we walk together?

((Sorry to take an age and a day just to have the Baron send a thank-you note, heheh.))

The Baron found the black vodka fascinating, and always appreciated good wines. While enjoying a glass of the former, he penned a note to Yukimura and sent it via his house elf.

My thanks for the excellent spirits, Yukimura- the black vodka is something I've never seen before. You'll have to drop by in the near future and share a glass or two. Drinks are always better with good company.
