Tours (Closed RP: Kayo, Kuronue & the Chesire Cat)

The Cat had met Kuronue as he'd attempted to find Hufflepuff. The paintings were no use, especially when they tended to call him a 'filthy bat' and made faces at him as he passed. Fading in lying over Kuronue's shoulders the demon had been mildly startled to suddenly be nose-to-nose with a grinning cat.

The Cheshire cat is helpful in his own special way... )

Kayo opened the door a crack, wondering who would be knocking on her door. She had been relieved to finally get to her room and settle in. She still didn't know what she was going to do about clothes, but she figured she would worry about that later. Other than Kusuriyuri-san, who would know she was here?

She blinked in surprise when she saw Kuronue-san holding the cat from before. Kayo smiled and opened the door and was glad she hadn't taken her hair down yet. "Kuronue-san, Neko-san." She bowed and stepped back opening the door more so they could enter. "Come in! Ah! You found my room faster than I did!"

Kuronue laughed and dropped the cat at her feet rather cruelly. "He made me walk in circles more than the paintings did."

He bowed in greeting to her all the same and removed his shoes once he was inside. "It's lovely to see you again, Kayo," he said, once he had straightened.

The Cheshire Cat, unruffled by the drop, merely walked up to Kayo and sat at her feet, twisting his neck to grin up at her.

Kayo looked from Kuronue to the Cat and then smiled as she bent down briefly to lift the cat into her arms. "It is nice to see you again too, Kuronue-san." It didn't matter if he really had no interest in her or had just been friendly when he said she was special. He had still been kind to her and she wanted, at the very least, to be his friend. The sadness in his eyes she had seen in the sorting room had been real after all.

She stepped back and tilted her head toward the room. "I only have just arrived here as well. It's not a room I'm accustomed to, so I'm still learning it. But have a seat, Kuronue-san. I'm afraid I have no tea or sake to offer you yet."

He nodded thankfully. Perceptive as he was, he could tell something was bothering her. He was worried. Had Kusuriyuri said something to her?

"I was told that the rooms tend to adapt themselves for their inhabitants." He smiled at her and had been about to ask if something was wrong, politely ignoring her request to sit for the moment, however the cat him off.

"House elves, Kayo, are little creatures who can bring you what you need." Demonstrating the Cat ordered an elf to bring sake and a bowl of vodka. The vodka being for the cat, of course. He nuzzled into her, then sighed while he waited for the elf to return.
