The Cat had met Kuronue as he'd attempted to find Hufflepuff. The paintings were no use, especially when they tended to call him a 'filthy bat' and made faces at him as he passed. Fading in lying over Kuronue's shoulders the demon had been mildly startled to suddenly be nose-to-nose with a grinning cat.

She blinked in surprise when she saw Kuronue-san holding the cat from before. Kayo smiled and opened the door and was glad she hadn't taken her hair down yet. "Kuronue-san, Neko-san." She bowed and stepped back opening the door more so they could enter. "Come in! Ah! You found my room faster than I did!"

He bowed in greeting to her all the same and removed his shoes once he was inside. "It's lovely to see you again, Kayo," he said, once he had straightened.
The Cheshire Cat, unruffled by the drop, merely walked up to Kayo and sat at her feet, twisting his neck to grin up at her.

She stepped back and tilted her head toward the room. "I only have just arrived here as well. It's not a room I'm accustomed to, so I'm still learning it. But have a seat, Kuronue-san. I'm afraid I have no tea or sake to offer you yet."

"I was told that the rooms tend to adapt themselves for their inhabitants." He smiled at her and had been about to ask if something was wrong, politely ignoring her request to sit for the moment, however the cat him off.
"House elves, Kayo, are little creatures who can bring you what you need." Demonstrating the Cat ordered an elf to bring sake and a bowl of vodka. The vodka being for the cat, of course. He nuzzled into her, then sighed while he waited for the elf to return.
