Well, Soichiro needed no encouragement, he's been cooped up for a while, and the cold season was coming soon. It would be good to join Rika and Matsuda and Rika's friend for a picnic.
Yukiko stayed behind; apparently the picnic cut into her naptime.
So Soichiro walked outside to where Rika said she'd be, spotting her preparing the picnic.
And an hour later, she headed down to the lake to meet Rika and whoever her other friends were. She got there around the same time as Soichiro, waving as she ran over. "Hi, Rika!"
"Hello, Soichiro" Rika stands up from her sitting position on the blanket as a way of greeting. Then she sees Coraline in the distance coming closer. Rika waves in the girl's direction, but waits until Coraline is close to say anything else.
"Hello Coraline, this is Mr. Soichiro Yagami, one of the first friends I made in Hogwarts," Rika introduces Soichiro in a western order. She also indicates with hand motions who is who, despite it being only the three of them around for the time being. "Soi, this is Coraline."
