Akabane was a predator. There was no avoiding that fact. The prey he preferred, though, was that which would push him beyond his limits, for all he didn't even know where those limits were. The more his prey challenged him, the more he enjoyed the hunt

He'd been on his way to the great hall for some food, hoping not to run into anyone. So Akabane's presence was an unwelcome surprise. Smiling nervously, he nodded and tried to merely step around him.

"Tatsuhiro Satou, is it not?" Akabane asked, his voice cultured and amused. Discomfort was amusing, but not what Akabane wanted. His quarry wouldn't respond to discomfort. He needed fear and he would have it.

"How did you know my name?" He stepped backward, shivering, eyes wide.

"I have been watching you," Akabane said, his voice continuing pleasant. Though, the statement was only partially true. He'd been watching for Jasper, but his true prey proved more elusive than he'd though. Delightfully so.
