Predictably enough, Chairman Kaga's made an appearance, drawn by Yuuri's curry setting off his fooddar.

Off to one side so that he didn't get caught up in the water war (cause that would NOT be good on his clothes), he enjoyed Yuuri's curry.

What had made it more disturbing was the inability to die at Hogwarts, but he wasn't going to mention that out loud where they'd then both have to think about it.

"Definitely. Considering the number of -" He caught himself before saying 'murderers'. "Monsters and perverts and - explosive-wielding maniacs..."

There was a significant darkening in his tone, at that last one. "Have you been in the computer lab recently?"

At 'explosive wielding maniacs' Kaga dropped his fork.

'Karasu,' his lips mouthed but didn't actually say.

He picked up his fork again. "Yes, I have."

Mikami looked up at the sound of the fork dropping, startled, and gradually realising...

"Rika's list," he said, slowly. "You - know who I'm talking about, don't you."

Under the table, Masuyo stopped playing with Kaga's shoes and looked up at him, curious.

Kaga nodded. "I was the first anonymous comment."

"...I was the fourth reply to you, then."

He couldn't think what else to say.

Well. Talk about your awkward moments.

Kaga stared at his curry for a few minutes before he said "I'd rather not talk about it out here in the open." That would give Mikami a chance to bow out or for them to move someplace a bit more private.

"Of course." He reached down without really looking to pet Masuyo, who had her front paws against his leg and was mewing up at him in concern. "I didn't realise... there's no reason we have to discuss this if you don't wish to."

"I hardly know you, it wouldn't seem right." Now Kaga's the one pushing away the curry.

"...of course." He looked away again, cursing himself. "I'm sorry."

Kaga nodded. "It...I'll be fine." He didn't say I hope, but it was there in his voice.

"I'm sure you will," Mikami said, softly, even though his voice shook a little. Guilt, and fury. This shouldn't happen. It was all supposed to be better than this by now.

A mreow caught Kaga's attention and he looked to see that Masuyo had moved from Mikami to him. He picked up Masuyo and cuddled her. "Have you adopted me too, Masuyo?"

Masuyo purred, cuddling against him.

"She likes to take care of people," Mikami said, fondly. He might have almost smiled for a second. "And apparently she likes your clothes."

Kaga did smile, faintly. "Hardly surprising. She isn't the first cat to beg to comfort me."

"There are enough around here. Which is fitting, I suppose, for a school of magic to attract cat people."
