After eating many meals with beings from all across the galaxy, Tenel Ka wasn't disgusted or disturbed by the Corinthian, or his meal.
"Greetings," she said as she put down the tray she was carrying with her right hand. She set down the book she'd been carrying under the stump of her left arm. Tenel Ka proceeded to eat in silence, as her practical nature precluded small talk.

"Eyes?" Karasu hissed, stopping on the opposite side of the table, in front of the Corinthian. He looked again at the plate and frowned. "What a shame," he moved closer as though he were going to sit. But rather than join the Corinthian, he simply leaned over the table to get a better look at the meal. "Some of those were lovely once."
