Amaterasu and Issun, from Ōkami

((Depending on how perceptive your character is, they'll see Amaterasu as either a regular white wolf roughly the size of a small pony, or see her god form, a white wolf with the strange red markings + whorls within her fur + the Divine Instrument (the shield looking thing with flames) she wears on her back. (( It's fine to have apped Amaterasu and Issun together -- sounds like it makes a lot of sense. The only difference is that they'll be considered two characters and will have separate character tags, which we will make now. ))

"Hi!" Wishbone said with a big smile. "I'm a dog! Well, usually, Professor Dumbledore helped me become human! Can I pet you? I want to know what it feels like to a human."

Amaterasu would have guessed Wishbone was really a dog based on scent alone. Scent was hard to mask, even with enchantments. And since he didn't seem at all demon-like, she barked at him and even pressed her head against one of his hands, inviting him to pet her.

"A dog that turns human, huh?" Issun said as he bounced on the wolf's nose. "You must be from Wep'keer! Aren't you a long way from home?"

Wishbone petted her carefully while looking at Issun. "You're tiny! Are you a baby human?"

"Human! Hmph. I'm not a human," Issun said, "I'm a Poncle. You must not be from Wep'keer after all, they know about us."

Matt's jaw dropped. He voted and walked away. Did he just seriously see Amaterasu?

Amaterasu tilted her head, watching Matt leave without even taking anything.

"Huh? Hey, thanks, kid!" Issun called after him. "...I think."

Well, a vote was a vote. Whatever good that would do them.

"Oh my gosh! That's amazing!" This creature, whatever she was (perhaps a new Pokemon? A legendary one, if it was) made it a garden inside.

Talking flower! Amaterasu stooped down and poked Sunflora with her nose. Ever curious, she wielded her Celestial Brush again and attempted to use her bloom technique on the flower.

"And that ain't all she can do!" said the sprite bouncing on Amaterasu's head, then he noticed who he was addressing. "Hey, you didn't just spring out of the ground too, did you? What are you?"

((I'm unsure if this counts as godmoding, no pun intended. I guess it might give Sunflora a feel-good buzz? Totally up to you whether it works or not.))

Sunflora felt like she was being tickled, and giggled. "Stop it, that tickles!"

Amaterasu stopped the brushwork, but continued sniffing Sunflora.

"You're kinda funny looking for a demon, if ya are one," Issun said. Since Amaterasu wasn't attacking, chances were the flower thing was probably okay and hopefully wouldn't try to eat them.

"I want those apples." Ah, Ryuk, straight to the point.

"They're yours, pops!" Issun said, then made a surprised noise when Amaterasu started growling at Ryuk. "Oh yeah! We came through a Devil Gate, so you must be the demon that caused it, huh? But you're the first to ask for apples. Or to do anything but attack us, actually."

"Demon? Nah," Ryuk said as he scooped the apples up. "I'm a shinigami. Better than a demon."

"Eh? A death god?" Issun said. "Never thought you guys would look like that."

But now that he'd actually seen one, he supposed it made sense that shinigami would look like decaying corpses. Amaterasu was still wary of Ryuk, but since he only seemed to be after the apples, she stopped growling.
