While L himself did not enjoy playing games, he enjoyed watching Matt play them. He sat comfortably, for him, on one of the couches, his feet hanging over the edge, his bare toes rubbing over each other as his hands rested on his knees. It was a pleasure, a relief, getting to know Matt again, to know that he was still loved. His conversation with Mello had helped ease his mind on many points. If Mello said he would do something, he would and he said that he would speak with Matt again. He pressed his thumb to his mouth, partially to mask the smile he couldn't stop as he watched Matt.
"Not particularly," L replied. "I prefer to watch. I could give you a massage, if you need it," he added just loud enough to be heard, not wanting everyone to hear. "Later, when you're ready."
Finally released from the Sorting Room, M made her way to Ravenclaw. Oddly, along the way one of the animated suits of armor fell into step behind her, right where she'd expect her bodyguard to be.
"What on Earth is that racket?" she asked of nobody in particular upon entering the common room.

"Hey," he said with a smile. "You want to try?"

"Can I play, too?" she murmured, coming up beside Matt. "That looks fun."

((Sorry for the lateness. Finals are over now though, so people can have regular tags from me again!))

M's not totally clueless. She digs the first-person shooters.
"How do you score points at this?"

What Matt said made sense to him.
And Goldeneye is the only FPS I'll ever love. Okay, and Halo.
