The plaque really did read 'Minaminaminamino.' Kurama was unsure whether to feel defeated or amused, and settled for a happy medium between both

"She wouldn't be a good double if she did!" Yukimura laughs. He starts on his second row. "All of my juuyuushi are good at what they do." He sighs. He still hasn't gotten used to not being followed.
"She's probably very irritated at you right now, not being around to make trouble for her to get you out of," he smiled. He sympathized with Yukimura's loneliness, knowing how hard it must be for him to find himself suddenly cut off from his support group.
"Sasuke's probably the most angry with me. He yells at me for many things, including drinking. Saito's probably sitting around wondering when I'll return and tell him what to do." He leaned against the rake. "She's probably doing what I last told her to. I don't see her all the time like I do the juuyuushi."
He sighed a little. As casual as their conversations were, he still had to remember exactly who Yukimura was - what he represented. "I never would have imagined you having such a close relationship with your followers."
Yukimura turned to Kurama. "They are my family. I would not have defeated Tokogawa with such a small force if they were not. My juuyuushi's loyalty is unquestionable. Any of them would lay down their life for me and I for them. It is what makes my army strong." There was a note of reprimand in his voice.
Kurama bowed his head. "My mistake," he murmured. He often forgot that team/family relationships like what he knew weren't as abnormal as one would expect.
Yukimura laughs. "You're quite forgiven. A lot of people forget that. Otherwise, I would have had more trouble defeating Tokogawa!" His eyes become serious even though he continues laughing. "Remember, though, it is your closest friends you will fight most seriously with, too."
"It is something I rely on," Yukimura replies vaguely. After he gets the tengoku, he will need to put his life on the line in a fight with Kyo to waken it. He trusts Kyo to fight him seriously.
"Maa, look, I have made the conversation too serious. Tell me, Kurama, what shall you do here?" he asks, gesturing to the greenhouse.
He nodded, thankful for the easy out. All this talk of families and followers was making him feel homesick.
"This greenhouse will be for classes. Originally, there was one greenhouse for each level of student, from first to seventh, but since there are no actual class levels or schedules anymore, I'll leave this one specifically for teaching. The other six... I'm not sure. One I want for the tealeaves, I might try to recreate other environments for the rest."
"Oh? That sounds like a good time for you," Yukimura says with a smile. "I should find something useful to do myself. It would help." Though, he doubts anything will fully erase the aching loneliness.
"There is little want for things to do, here," he said, returning once again to the bed. He had to dodge to the side when Belophoebe dashed through the hallway, chasing some kind of vermin or another. "Perhaps you could find a pet?"
Yukimura watched the cat streak through the greenhouse. He laughed. "Maybe. For now, if you will have me, I should like to continue. Your company is pleasant."
