L had suggested trying to create charms triggered by mood or action, rather than by the traditional wave-wand-yell-incantation, and that's just what Matt's doing. It's tricky work - not quite the same as the runework Matt's become used to - and it's the first time he's tried it. So it's not really that surprising that he messes up.

After receiving this gift from 'a secret admirer', Light had kicked it under his bed where the handcuffs he arrived in also lay. It was bad enough that the note that came with the outfit was addressed to Kira, but it seems worse that he doesn't know who could have sent it. Certainly not anyone from his own world, they would have thought of a better joke than this, so it must be Mikami's fault from when he ate that soup.

Instead of hunting Mikami down and demanding to know who all heard him speak of Kira so he can find out who sent the female viking outfit, Light was on his way outside to burn the gift (it was creepy having it under the bed). Was, because on his way through the castle he was hit with magical energy, strong enough to knock the wrapped gift out of his hands and to knock him back a bit. When Light regains his footing he now finds himself somehow wearing the damn outfit... and that he is also a woman. She inspects her new body, one that actually fits in the petite clothes, while walking in a random direction. Hoping this ( ... )

"Yeah, it's me... Matt?" Of course the first person to see Light in a skirt is someone from his/her own world, at least that person has been genderswitched as well. "What is going on?"
