Application for Kusuriyuri from Mononoke
((OOC: the character is known only by his occupation title. In the show Ayakashi--Samurai Horror Tales (specifically the third story arc) and in Mononoke, he is unnamed. He is from the Edo Period, which was from 1603-1868. There are also trains in the last arc of Mononoke, closer to 1920, he is ageless...more or less))
It is highly unusual for him to be caught unawares. He didn't sense any mononoke. But, Kusuriyuri, a simple medicine peddler, his name lost to memory, has not been caught unawares in a long time. But, then, he knows change. He slowly approaches the table in the center of the room, his geta making soft clacking noises as he walks. He sets down his medicine chest, easily half as tall as he is, as though it weighs nothing. The quill standing ready earns his attention. With a gesture, a scale flys from the trunk to balance on his finger. It doesn't react, so he sends it back in. No mononoke, then.

"Cheese?" he asks softly, startled when the quill writes for him. "I do not know it's form," he states slowly, watching the words form as he says them. His lips curl in appreciation.
2. Who would you kill first, Barney or Carrottop?
"Without knowing if they are mononoke, nor knowing their form, truth and regret, I cannot unsheath my sword. If one of them is a mononoke, then I will kill it."
3. What time is it where you are?
He frowns softly. "It is now."
4. If you were Albus Dumbledore returned from the dead, which member of the Order of the Phoenix would you sexually harass? How would you harass them? If you are Albus Dumbledore, please answer as if you were Sirius Black.
"If Albus Dumbledore were to return to life, he would be a mononoke, and would need to be killed."

A. Slytherin - please state the clever, witty name of the bar in which you bartend, in the dark.
A smirk curves his lips. "Ayakashi."
B. Gryffindor - Debate whether Harry should ultimately end up married to Fred or George. Use examples from a variety of world mythologies to bolster your argument.
"He should be sure they are what they say they are, first. He would not want to find himself bound to a mononoke, after all." He remembered that happening, once. Maybe more than once. "Make sure they do not wear a mask."
C. Ravenclaw - You guys are supposed to be smart. Explain why my desk is inundated with paperwork at all times, even though I’m constantly disposing of it.
"Once you know the truth, form and regret of it, you can vanquish it." He figures paperwork must be some kind of mononoke, after all.
D. Hufflepuff - Prove you are not useless.
He skips this question. It is not wise to boast about one's prowress, after all. If others speak well of him, that is one thing, but for him to do so is unseemly.
