I wasn't quite sure how best to work with the myriad of owls I needed to send out my first messages. I mean, Matthew had sent me one, and my reply went back by the same owl. But gee, I was going to have to get one of these things for myself, or go nuts ( Read more... )

Just talked to Lola and she's all for somebody else wanting to know how to deal with Maia. Dinner in the Great Hall sounds good, Lola's coming too. Where'd you get Sorted?

Dear Deety,

Sure, we ought to be able to get most of the stuff in Hogsmeade. The wand, though... They might have them at Dervish and Bange's, but I kind of doubt it. We might have to get to Diagon Alley in London for one. There's a big red thing that smokes train that can take us as far as whatever that bloody town is called Charing Cross, though, so it shouldn't be too hard.

I'm free pretty much whenever; not as if there are too many classes on.
