Because HH is just addictive like that, I occasionally find that songs remind me of HH characters and ships, often characters or ships not my own. When I know the mun personally and don't mind revealing my geekery, I'll sometimes YSI them the song.

Charles ... oh, there are so many songs that can work for Charles, or for Charles/Camilla. Here are a few:

Mary Gauthier, "Your Sister Cried."

DeVotchKa, "'Til the End of Time." Their sort of doomed intertwinedness (god, that's an awkward phrase but I can't think of a better way to put it atm), and particularly how I imagine it'd have felt during the time after Henry's funeral but before Charles's trip to rehab.

This song keeps reminding me of the twins in HH: Maria Taylor, "Replay". Heard it on the way to work one morning and went o.O.

And this one could work both for that lacuna in canon after Charles's trip to rehab, and for HH: Mary Gauthier, "Falling Out of Love."

I don't have this on my computer, so I can only link the lyrics, but "The Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades" makes me think of Ian Malcolm because of the I got a crazy teacher, he wears dark glasses line.
