Roran gets bored - Open RP

Sure, the castle was nice and all- if you could find anything. But Roran just couldn't find any grandeur in the place. No, what it needed... was a forge.

Now, if only he could find one...

Brienne had just come in from the outdoors, her sword as always strapped to her hip, and was headed up to Gryffindor when she spotted the young man with the hammer looking either lost or bored or both.

The tall, armored woman made her way over and asked, "Are you looking for something in particular, or are you just exploring?"

Roran hadn't noticed the woman until that point. "Uh, yes, ma'am, I am looking for something," he stuttered. "Do you happen to know if there's a forge about? Or, if not, where I might create one?"

[maid_brienne]

Brienne pondered that. Come to think of it, she hadn't seen a forge, which was unusual in itself, this being a castle and all.

"I... don't think I've seen one here," she admitted. "But there's lots of room on the grounds, and I don't think anyone would mind." She flashed him a rare smile. "I know I would appreciate a decent smithy."

Roran blushed. "Well, ma'am, I hope it is decent, though I still am an apprentice. Perhaps you can judge for yourself, once I have started?" Roran paused. "I'm Roran." He offered a handshake and a smile.

*Morty, freshly Sorted, is wandering the halls and hoping to meet people. He raises a hand in greeting as he nears Roran.* Hello.

"Hello!" Roran said. "My name's Roran. Have we met?"

Don't think so; I was just Sorted. I'm Morty. *The trainer holds out a hand.*
