The ailment had not yet been studied in my time; literacy nonetheless avails me, I am happy to say; there are texts which explain to me something of schizophrenia. It seems to me that if the onset of the ailment had to do with your age, and if reverting to an earlier age undid it, perhaps we ought to look into the possibility of selective deaging, as it were. By all means, do send me the chocolate for analysis. I should think refined deaging potions might offer a better starting place, as far as a treatment along the lines you suggest, and I have done some work at Hogwarts already on such a potion. In your case, the treatment cannot be worse than the ailment, I suspect, so I am much less hesitant to provide you with such a substance as I might otherwise be, given the deleterious effects of long-term use.
Selective de-aging...it would make sense (more than most of the crap I've read about this disease makes sense.) I've tried all kinds of medicine, and while some of them have been worse than the disease, it's mostly because they made me sick. They were all Muggle medicines, too, and from what I've seen magical medication seems to be much better. I really, really appreciate your help--I've lived with the Narrator for so long that I almost forgot what it was like to live without him, and now that I've remembered I'd do almost anything to get rid of him. That...the chocolate was a kind of gift, weird as that sounds. I haven't been a child in a long time, and there's a kind of...innocence, I guess, that has nothing to do with memory or experience. Coming back from that...really hurt, but knowing there's a chance I can do something about it makes it a lot better.
sincerely,
Molly Michon
P.S. Sorry it's kind of squashed.

In short, my dear, I will do what I can.
