All right, Silas was used to massive cathedrals and the rambling corridors of the Opus Dei center in New York, but Hogwarts dwarfed them all in both size and sheer confusion. He'd found Ravenclaw all right, the night before, but now that he was attemtping to go anywhere else, he found himself hopelessly lost in a corridor that looked, well, like

*Erk is startled to turn a corner and run into a man in a vaguely familiar outfit.* Those robes... You're not an Elimine monk, by any chance, are you?

*Erk laughs mirthlessly.* Not even all of my friends are good people - and I use the term "friends" loosely. There's Matthew, for instance, whose only redeeming aspect is his sense of humor. *Matthew does in fact have several other redeeming aspects, it's just that Erk doesn't know about them.*

"I hope there are few who are outright evil...I have met one person I know is, but most of the rest seem to be decent." Of course there were going to be flat-out evil people, but it might be best if he didn't run across them any time soon. Controling his temper wasn't Silas's strong point, and the fact that he was half-cracked didn't help.
