328 & 329 from Yoshitoshi Abe’s manga ‘White Rain’
A small girl comes walking into the hall wearing a headband, dirty tunic, trousers and shoes, all stained with dried blood. Slung over one shoulder is an oar whilst in her other hand is an ornate axe.
Buzzing in the air around her was a rather large, glowing insect that resembled a drake.
She re-adjusts the headband to keep her messy brown hair out of her eyes and sees the application form.
She began to read it with a frown on her face.
“I’ve never seen this writing before… but… three-two-eight, is this your memories?”
Her face suddenly took on a softer expression as she spoke up again.
“Yes, I’m not to sure why, though. There was no writing like this back at the village.”

“Cheese” She thinks for a moment. That is a food, right? I can’t remember the last time I ate anything.”
The Insect’s buzzing seemed to become louder and for a moment she covered her ears.
“My sister doesn’t count.” She yells in anger, directing it at the insect.
2. Who would you kill first, Barney or Carrottop?
“No, three-two-nine won’t kill anymore. But if one of them was to threaten her… I’d kill them myself. I won’t see her suffer through murdering another”
3. What time is it where you are?
“Twelve days since my sister and I first awoke, I don’t know any other means to keep track.”
4. If you were Albus Dumbledore returned from the dead, which member of the Order of the Phoenix would you sexually harass? How would you harass them? If you are Albus Dumbledore, please answer as if you were Sirius Black.
“I don’t know the term ‘sexually harass’ but I do know what sex is. Is that the question? Who would I have sex with? umm…” She thinks for a moment.
“Sis? What do you think?”
“I don’t know. Are they loving?”
She shrugged her shoulders.
“Who ever it is, there has to be emotion behind it. Nothing shallow or it is empty and pointless.”
5. If you are pushing to be in:
A. Slytherin - please state the clever, witty name of the bar in which you bartend, in the dark.
“Bar in which I Bartend? I’m sorry, I don’t understand this. What is a bar?”
“I think they want a name for a place.”
“Really? Hmm, I don’t know”
“What about ‘Un-fabricated’”?
“But-“
“-It would make an ironic name at least. Don’t you think?”
“Yeah, you’re right”
B. Gryffindor - Debate whether Harry should ultimately end up married to Fred or George. Use examples from a variety of world mythologies to bolster your argument.
“Married? Again, I don’t understand this.”
“It makes sense, this new world, we haven’t found our other sisters yet and so…”
“I… won’t do it again”
“I didn’t mean it like that sis, I’m sorry.”
“The question? Do you have any ideas?”
“Sorry, I don’t.”
“The next one then.”
C. Ravenclaw - You guys are supposed to be smart. Explain why my desk is inundated with paperwork at all times, even though I’m constantly disposing of it.
“Maybe that’s the way the world is created here, I guess you will just have to keep doing what you must”
D. Hufflepuff - Prove you are not useless.
“Useless, I’m not useless… I’m…”
“No, your not. You could accept the insect’s words when I tried to fool myself otherwise. You have an amazingly strong grip of your individuality… You even found a loophole in the world.”
“Thanks, but you found the loophole remember.”
“We both found it”
6. Offer a bribe to the members of this community so that they will not squib you. Items used in bribery do not necessarily have to belong to the person offering the bribe.
“A bribe? But I don’t have anything”
“I doubt we need the tools of murder anymore. We could give them those.”
“I suppose.”
She looks at the axe she held and rested it on the table next to the application. Then she drew out a knife that was tucked into the waistline of her pants and rested it also on the table. She looked at the oar for a moment.
“I also have a raft I left on shore of the lake if you want it but I’d like to keep the oar please”
((OOC - Yes, she has split personality, or rather, two souls. 328’s soul, 329’s sister, lives within her. Because of this they both now share the same body and take turns coming out.
I’m playing them directly post White Rain as don’t know if ABe has continued the plot at all like he wanted to or if this is it. Because of this I’m taking some huge liberties in regards to the background and characterisation.))
