There is the sound of stone grinding against stone, and then a small section of wall is pushed open as though it was a door, even though there is no door there. *nods* I think so too. There was a lot of strangeness where I came from. People had strange dreams and sometimes acted oddly or saw things that couldn't be real, and they didn't understand why.

But if you know that magic is real and that we were living very close to a magic portal, in that tree in the woods, then it just makes sense that people respond to that power in all sorts of unusual ways. It would maybe have been better if more people knew and believed it was real. But most of the world doesn't work that way.
