enlightening conversation with a recent applicant, Jo snuck into the library. She knew that what she wanted to research was hardly proper for a young lady, but she was too overcome with curiosity.
She wandered the library until she found a few large volumes with lurid illustrations. Not sure she wanted to be seen reading said books in Gryffindor, she carried them over to a table in the back, hunched forward, and tried to read, looking up sharply and guiltily at any small noise.
