Jack rightly trusted Ianto to sort things out for him, he had done for a long time before they'd even been here. Which was possibly why the two of them seemed so at ease setting Owen up, just happily taking cues from each other. This time, was no disappointment. Though Jack had the impression Ianto could have had the help of the house elves on this one. It was like Owen had said, an excuse to get drunk, and there was quite a decent selection of drink. There were of course the usual decorations around and food, couldn't not have food but the center piece on the table was their cake. A cake that Ianto had thoughtfully asked the elves to charm so it turned into whatever type of cake that the person wanted at that time.

Jack stood there in the middle for a moment before he grabbed an unknown bottle of something and went to sit at the side. He was happy, of course he was happy, more than, he just wasn't sure who was going to turn up and if it would be a mess. Jack Harkness not wanting to be an attention whore like he was most of the time, seemed like some sign the world was ending.
