Dear Mel,
Merry Christmas! I do hope it's the right size. I looked up a charm in the library that is supposed to make an item of clothing fit any who chuse to wear it, but I am not sure if I met with any success. If not, pray let me know and I shall make any alterations necessary.

My dear Miss Bennet,

My thanks for thinking of me on this day of days. If these are what I think they are, you have given me a handsome present indeed!

My own present to you is nothing like so grand, nor so professionally made, but it is given with the sincerest hope of affording you pleasure.

Let there be no more of that regret, madam. I thought the matter already well settled?

My best wishes for your health and happiness,
FITZWILLIAM DARCY

The owl is also carrying an 11x14 pen-and-ink sketch on parchment, of the village of Meryton circa 1812. The drawing shows competent draftsmanship, but lacks a certain something in the way of imagination or whimsy.

Mr. Darcy-

I cannot know your thoughts, but they are a set of car keys.

Your present quite outdoes mine, sir, I assure you. It is quite delightful, and I have already framed it and hung it in my room. It was very kind of you to undertake such an endeavor.

Best wishes.

Miss Bennet,
Thank you so much. The bonnet is lovely, and the turpentine is definitely useful. I've been working on this for you, too. Hope you like.
Jilly

The owl is carrying a small portrait of Elizabeth, sitting in a chair in what is obviously the Ravenclaw common room.

Dear Jilly,

You are very welcome, and you have my sincerest thanks for the portrait. It's simply amazing? Did you paint it yourself? You are quite the artist, if you have.

Elizabeth,

Yes, I did paint that. I had quite a bit of time to study your body while I was in it, and it's not an experience I'm likely to forget.
Yours,
Jilly
