He continued stroking her shoulder, in a way that was not intended to lead to sex. He just enjoyed touching her. When he spoke next, there was in a bit of a worried tone. "And you? Are you, um, feeling good?"
'Oh, shut up,' Teazer replies, sticking her tongue out, and smiles back.
His next question takes her by surprise. Because nobody had bothered to ask before. Not Mungojerrie, the silly lump, she thinks fondly. Definitely not Macavity. She turns her thoughts away from that and replies.
Mistoffelees relaxed visibly. Okay. Good. He'd done something right... Phew. That was a relief. Um, not that he had been worried or anything. Of course not. Ahem.
