It was the screaming of the devils and an oddly familiar female voice that woke Gogo. She stirred for a moment, the vague idea that it might be Yuki floating across her mind - but that was silly. Her sister wouldn't squeal as stupidly as that, like she was actually scared...
It took her a moment to realise that things felt a little - odd. In her time in Hogwarts, Gogo had been transformed both into a man and a small child (though not both at once) so the feeling of being in a different body didn't panic her too much.
Prying an eye open to find herself in a room that wasn't her own, face pressed into a teddy that wasn't even pink, did. Gogo sat up quickly.
Then she took a proper look at the toy.
"... Squee-kun?" She looked around. It was definitely Squee's room, but her little friend wasn't there! What had happened to him? He didn't go anywhere without his (not-very-cute at all) teddy, but it was right here, and Squee didn't even know how to hold a sword and if someone had stolen him she'd have to find them and CUT OFF ALL THEIR
( ... )
Squee had finally stopped screaming in order to catch his breath, and was now gasping for air. The devils had stopped yowling a few minutes ago, and were giving him identical puzzled stares.
When he saw himself walk into the room carrying Shmee, he tried to make a familiar squeak of terror with an unfamiliar set of vocal cords, and came up with something that sounded like "SqueEEEeeK!"
"U-Um..." he gulped. Oh jeez, what if he'd been CLONED, the stupid aliens from back home had finally gotten into Hogwarts and they'd stolen his BRAIN and put him in Gogo's body (if he'd been thinking clearly at this point, he would've wondered how the aliens had gotten past Gogo with all their limbs intact) and now they'd made a CLONE and the clone had Shmee and what was he gonna do?!
"Are you a clone? Or a robot or something?" he quavered.
That was HER body, but it was wearing the sort of expression people wore when she was about to smash a manriki into their skull, and the words coming out of her - it's? - mouth were odd-sounding. Her voice, but the words were... shaped differently, somehow.
Gogo's new kitten, Toad-chu, wandered over to sniff at her quizzically. Gogo was glaring now. "No. What are you doing in my body?" The Japanese accent she thought in and the... WHATEVER accent of this body clashed horribly, and she growled in frustration, fingers tightening on Shmee's arm.
"What're you doing in mine?" he shot back, grabbing hold of one of the pink pillows behind him and holding it in front of him like an ineffeciant body shield. Seeing himself glaring at... er, himself was too bizzare and unsettling for words.
Wait a second... that glare looked kind of familiar...
"... Gogo?"
*Ow! Hey, watch it!*
Squee jerked, and shot the bear a nervous look. "Umm... if you're Gogo, could you let go of Shmee? You're hurting his arm and it'd be nice if you let go even if you aren't Gogo and you're really a robot or something, too."
