Dear Sarah Jane Smith,

Wow, your name is really hot. You're a lady, right? Anyway, I'm pretty good at answering questions if I do say so myself. Back home I answered people's questions in e-mails every week. I called it: SBEMAIL. I could answer questions here too in your newspaper.

Crapfully yours,
Strong Bad

Strong Bad,

My name? Sarah Jane is a hot name? Can't say I've heard that one before. Yes, I'm a woman. Hm, a answering column. I like it. Alright then, you're hired. I'll direct all questions your way, alright?

Ms. Smith,

Thank you kindly for your letter. I'm afraid, however, that I wouldn't know very much about writing for a newspaper. I do wish you luck in your endeavor, and I certainly look forward to seeing the results.

Sincerely,
Constable Benton Fraser
Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Ms. Smith,

I was quite happy to reply. If you really did send this out to the whole school, I imagine you're soon to be flooded with letters. I hope you have someone to help you read them all!

Unfortunately, my investigative skills are generally of the crime-solving variety, not the journalistic variety. I wouldn't know where to begin. Additionally, my writing really isn't up to par. If I ever do feel the pressing need to publish something, I promise you will be the first person I talk to.

Sincerely,
Constable Benton Fraser, RCMP

Mr Fraser,

Well I hope I'm going to be flooded with letters, I supposed that was the only way to get a large response.

Crime solving hm? Well I do admit to having a bit of a knack for that myself. Most of my journalistic endeavors were more in the investigating places when they weren't doing things they were supposed to and exposing them. That's a bit of my expertise actually. But if you find anything that you think should be published, yes you let me know.

Dear Sarah Jane,

Sure, sounds like fun. I don't have any journalist cred or anything, but I'd be glad to help out. Let me know what I can do.

Yours,
Jilly Coppercorn

Ms Coppercorn,

That sounds lovely. Is there any particular thing you want to write about?

Ms. Smith,

Do you have anyone willing to do photography? I'd probably be better at that than the writing.

Ms Coppercorn,

No one willing to do photography yet. It would be much appreciated.

Miss Smith,

I was conducting interviews for our previous newspaper, though they have yet to be published in that format. I am certain that the people I have spoken to would enjoy having them circulated, and I would be happy to donate my work to your project.

Sincerely,

Miss Emma Woodhouse

Miss Woodhouse,

Oh I'm so glad to get someone who's done this before. I'd been hearing that they had tried to get a newspaper up and running here, but I'm a bit more determined. But I'd love it if you contributed. Thank you so much.

Typed back, there was a neat letter, unsigned. The Dalek could get a job!

To whom it may concern,

I'm always looking for people who want to write. Anything really. Advice columns are all the rage. So who is this that wants to work for me if I might ask?
