A young woman with short blonde hair walks in, stops, and looks around in surprise. She is wearing worn baggy trousers, a slightly stained linen shirt, boots, and a swordbelt from which hang a sword and a silver dagger.

Small things amuse certain people, and Jilly noticed right away that this applicant shared her name. She made her way over, smiling in her usual cheerful way.

"Geordie doesn't play for money. He gets the occasional tip, but if he did all those things I mentioned he wouldn't have to hold down any other sort of job. Am I just confusing you more?"

"He does do odd jobs here and there, things he can do to support himself, but they're not his passion, really." She gave a slight shrug. "Geordie's odd. What can I say?"

((This is never really adequately explained in canon. In Jilly's canon, apparently, people can be bohemian and artistic without, y'know, starving to death.))
