A Disease, an opperation, a twisted ankle and a bad hair week

As I have already said to people who know me, I have been diagnosed with a disease called periodontal disease also referred to as ‘gum disease’. It is not like deadly (thankfully), but if the treatment I am currently undergoing doesn’t cure it I’m going to have to have an operation where they literally shave off parts of my gums.
