I'm so upset about this Coyotes/Blackhawks game I can't stop shaking and it's been over for an hour. Tazer was a ball of barely concealed rage. He seemed so upset about the hit and has no idea what to expect out of the NHL anymore. And I was loving Kaner coming to Jonny's defense at the end of the second.

So what I'd love to see is Kaner comforting Jonny at home. Offering comfort in the only way he knows how. And Jonny, raging at the walls and inanimate objects at the condo until Kaner can get through to him.

Basically I just want love between these two.

I was the OP and this was wonderful! I love Pat being the one to comfort Jonny. And Jonny making himself crazy over worstcase scenarios. Always being the Captain and beating himself up because he couldn't protect Hoss. Because he feels like he'll be helpless to protect the rest of the guys, to protect Kaner. And love to Kaner for finally realizing this and breaking Jonny out of his head.

“I’m here,” he said. “I’m here, and I’m safe. We’re safe.” He didn’t realize until he said it out loud how much he’d needed to hear it himself, as confirmation that that game was over, that there wasn’t read to be nervous anymore, but some part of their heads was still caught up in utter rage and just couldn’t stop.

I'm here. I'm here, and I'm safe. We're safe." I can just see Kaner repeating this mantra. I can see Jonny needing to hear it over and over again for him to believe it. For him to let go and come down
