[Al really, really hated being put in this position. His brother probably wouldn't even show up anyway, just to complete his act as the world's most ungrateful brat. But here he was, asking his father not to come to a party that was supposed to be about families.

He knocked on the door, half-hoping his father was gone or wouldn't answer. After all, it wasn't Hohenheim's fault that Ed was being so selfish.]

[Naoto stood right next to Alphonse, also waiting, her hand seeking the reassuring grip of his gauntlet.

She was feeling nervous and a bit awkward. Meeting the man who was the cause of so much pain for her family... at least if Ed's side of the story was to be believed.

But she needed to get to the bottom of this. Needed to know the truth behind the events which had spurned those two boys to trespass into forbidden territory and was the catalyst for their long journey...]
