Deathly Hallows Fic Rec

Just surfacing for a quick rec for a post Deathly Hallows fic that makes that epilogue seem almost worth it. This is funny (WARNING-- do not sip your beverage of choice while reading, unless your monitor screen is in need of a shower), with great middle aged AND child voices, but it also slips in some thoughtful points. I don't read Harry Potter fic ... er, didn't read Harry Potter fic. Until this rec. Which was really, really good, and I just spent the last four days devouring this writer's stories. Eep!

Devour her live journal, as well-- she can make the most mundane everyday events sparkle with her wit. I'm really looking forward to her published work when it comes out. Her account of how she got her agent is well worth the read. Skip back in her journal-- it's not far back.

Glad you enjoyed it. I just got over my prejudice against Harry Potter fanfic myself (who knew-- it really isn't all written by sub-literate teenagers). There's some amazing stuff out there.
