Anybody Else see this?

I'm sure some fic has made use of this situation with the darkness-- but I wonder if reflected sunlight works on vamps like the real thing. If not, one could set up a nifty vacation spot for the undead....

Reflected sunlight has the same spectrum as sunlight and nearly the same intensity, so I would think so. I'd expect moonlight (also reflected sunlight, at a much lower intensity) to vaguely bother them but not hurt 'em.

Depends on what you think the mechanism is, though.

I've seen something on tv about that town before! I had brief thoughts about vampires, but then promptly forgot about it. Hmmm, thinking reflected sunlight would still hurt them, but don't have any cool scientific theories to back that up. *shrug*
