I may have to set a goal of once a week for posting, at least until I get into some kind of rhythm again. No great loss to you all, I'm sure-- you have plenty else to clutter your f-list

Yes, I have used the "read everything" method of time wasting and procrastination a lot-- it does help, but it takes so long now that it does tend to make me more depressed than anything (at how far from that early writing I am now in both quality and space.) But it is a suggestion with some merit-- I just have to find the balance again.
And indeed, yes, I wrote "Lost Boys", which is archived at ff.net in its definitive form, though there is a version on this journal, also. I think there's a link on my journal itself somewhere to the ff.net location. (ETA: the link is to my ff.net homepage-- it's off that if you want to find it again. Left sidebar.)
I also need to get back to the Lost Boys Sequel, which has more written but is also stalled. I got good beta feedback on the next part and realized I had to rewrite it, and then-- life happened.....
If that doesn't work, click on "hobgoblinn at ff.net" in my links sidebar and that will get you to my ff net homepage-- you should find it from there, too, along with anything else I've ever written, including "Two Dads", which goes along with LB, and the sequel which is a WIP but has more stuff waiting for me to edit.
And thanks again for your suggestion. I feel as if I shut down the conversation with my reply, which I so did not intend to do. I've just done the rereading so much without then being able/ having time to reap the benefits. And the depression of not being able to match the earlier inspired stuff is very hard to overcome, too. It wasn't always such a problem, when I wrote and read more often. Hopefully getting back here will help somewhat. And having sensible friends say inspiring or encouraging things.
