is there any reason why some of them won't work? most of them show up but some of them just show up as the picture with the red x.

I've had that problem in the past and it's because the image URL is too long. I've solved this by renaming the folder for the mood theme. So instead of a folder named (e.g.) "The Darjeeling Limited mood theme" I rename it to "Darjeelingtheme". Hope that helps :)

so i should rename the url folder and then go through the admin process again?

Yup. But that should only take a few seconds to re-do the codes if you use the Edit > Replace All tool in your notepad program.
