omg, mine too! my cat, I mean. some of the aunties who go around feeding cats actually take away the collars (not too sure why, never dared ask) and some people actually take away cats' collars out of malice. like my neighbours, who don't like him wandering around. look out for cake!
have you checked trees? the collars loosen and get snagged off if they get caught on something that suspends Cake's body, right, so trees are a likely place but also difficult to go searching.
and man, collars are expensive. ask around your neighbours', maybe Cake left her collar in one of their houses?

yeah, the collars we buy always have safety catches on them, unclasping themselves so that Cake won't choke if she ever gets snagged by something. maybe i will ask my neighbours if they have seen them...
I think it's cos they reckon the cats are strays, but I'm sure Cake doesn't look like one! she seems all fluffy and mostly white with little orange tabby patches and aww so cute...
maybe Cake goes climbing in the same tree? like Gilly goes climbing in the mango tree next door pretty often and the next day the maid from next door will turn up at our door frowning with pursed lips and dangling his silver collar out like it's poisonous. and I realise how ridiculous it sounds that "Cake left her collar in one of their houses" but I mean estates! like trees and stuff in the estates! Gilly does that, see.
