awwwwww bofur <3 this is so nice. i actually believe he would lose his temper if someone he considers friend (or family) is treated unfairly (or threatened or something like that). so i think this was entirely believabe!

And I wouldn't say Bofur losing his temper would be out of character, he's probably the type that doesn't loose his often, but when he does he really looses it.
