But do ye not think it possible his homesickness, struggling to do right, may be influenced by your treatment of him? Only putdowns, pointing out wrongs, claiming he does not belong is all ye have ever given him! awwwwww bofur <3 this is so nice.
i actually believe he would lose his temper if someone he considers friend (or family) is treated unfairly (or threatened or something like that). so i think this was entirely believabe!

And I wouldn't say Bofur losing his temper would be out of character, he's probably the type that doesn't loose his often, but when he does he really looses it.

Yes, Bofur probably is one of those who rarely loses their temper yet does so in spectacular fashion.
