Two things I know about design
that a lot of people don't seem to agree with, however:
1.) Truly good design never gets boring. So maybe I should just trust my impulse to pick out Avenir from virtually every single list of typefaces I've found so far, and ignore all the people who say it's 'boring'. And I'm glad to find another Avenir fan! I really do instinctively pick it as my favourite out of any list of typefaces... I think all the hip young designers who think it's 'boring' don't understand why classics are classics! ;-)
What do you think of Officina Sans? Quite different in character from Avenir, but I find I rather like it, too.
