Why are they making TV shows so good these days?

I just started watching "Heroes" the other day and now I'm totally hooked up. How are we supossed to have a life with so many great TV shows out there?

I just bought the whole season of Life As We Know It on DVD and as soon as I get it in the mail, I am soooooo having a Sean Faris marathon and spending all 9 hours and 18 minutes adoring him. TV is cool...

I never thought I'd end up watching tv - I grew up totally without it, and I don't even currently have access to a tv. Nevertheless, I'm finding myself being inexorably sucked in, though the only one of the shows I've been introduced to that is still alive is Supernatural. And I have to say, it's all about the characterization.

*squees* More people on my f-list need to start watching this, so I can have more people to squee about it with. Despite the fact that I'm behind a couple of episodes...

Oh, I know! People who write TV shows are just plain evil.
